Racial Equity and Cultural Humility Two Part Training: Cultural Humility and Equity in Behavioral Health

This is a two-part training. Upon registering, you will automatically be enrolled in both the 11/14 and 11/16 sessions.
Training Description:
Provide participants with information on how to enhance cultural humility and allyship skills. This training begins with defining cultural humility, marginalization, allyship, and identifying common groups that are marginalized. The training moves to explore personal biases that people have and how this impacts cultural humility. The training provides an exploration of self-reflection on how to enhance one’s ability to be an ally.
Training Objectives:
After this training, participants will be able to:
- Explain racial trauma
- Describe the impact of racial trauma
- Describe what fuels the ongoing experiences of racial trauma
- Use equity and healing in behavioral health services
- Define cultural humility
- List at least two ways to empower the voices of marginalized people
- List two personal biases
