Secondary Trauma & Supervision Two-part Training: Secondary Trauma and Self-Care

This is a two-part training. Upon registering, you will automatically be enrolled in both the 12/7 and 12/9 sessions.
Training Description:
Participants in this training will explore the impact of work-related trauma. Participants will be given the opportunity to share how exposure to trauma in the workplace has affected them and how they have coped. Emphasis will be placed on identifying helpful coping strategies using group discussion and case reviews.
Training Objectives:
At the end of this training participants will be able to:
- Define secondary trauma
- Describe symptoms of secondary trauma
- Identify ways of coping with secondary trauma
- Identify strategies for developing resilience
- Describe the five guiding principles of trauma-informed supervision
- Apply the five guiding principles to supervision
- Describe the differences between daring and armored leadership
