Access for Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard-of-Hearing Individuals

Training Description:

This 30-minute training provides guidance on how to effectively work with diverse Deaf populations using video scenarios of challenges in connecting appropriate interpreter services for individuals and the negative consequences that result. Building a foundational understanding of Deaf culture, working with interpreters and assessing individual preferences for communication are presented as best practices.

This short training does not meet the requirements for CE Credits.
